This week was soooooo long.

I can't believe all the stuff that has happened this week. At work, with friends, at home. My husband and I decided to take it easy today. We went out to make Samba's spay appt., went clothes shopping, went out to eat, picked up dog food, and frontline from our local pet shop. We came home, wrapped my moms and grandmothers mother's day gifts and gardened. I cleaned the office and blogged, read blogs and watched a little YouTube. *sigh* It was a good day.

What to do? Therapy for ALL!!!

I'm stressed out.

Today we voted for a new line. The one that came out on top ended up not getting picked. The vote was 2 to 4. My second of three choices was picked first. I was not upset, but not satisfied.

I have another meeting coming up. I plan on another 11:00 pm presentation. *Sigh*

I have to present my plan once more. I'm ready to quit. My project is not going the way I would like it. The other "partner" which never showed up for the vote, is still on the project. I don't want him as a part of it. He is not professional and I can't work with him. There is no communication.

If I quit, then I'm letting my customers down. If I stay, I will not be working under conditions that would make me happy. However I can make his life hell the next budget year.

On top of everything.... I'm dealing with a lot with my friend. I don't know how to deal with her. It's her daughters birthday. She did not bring her daughter her gift, because they got in a fight on the phone. Her daughter is 11. I don't know. ARGGGGGGG!!!!!! Shit, someone needs help. I love that little girl and I will do anything to protect her. Her daughter came over to get her gift. We got her a cute outfit. Three pieces so she can interchange them.

Today is Cinco de Mayo. An "American" Holiday.

What is Cinco de Mayo? Many people tend to believe that it is the Mexican Independence Day, while others simply take it as another opportunity to celebrate. Mexican Independence Day was actually on September 16, 1810, when Mexico declared its independence from it's colonizer, Spain. Cinco de Mayo did not take place until 52 years later!

It commemorates the victory of 4,000 Mexican soldiers over twice as many French soldiers in the state of Puebla, Mexico, on May 5, 1862.

The Mexican army was able to defeat the French troops and claim a great victory that kept Napoleon III (French) from supplying the confederate rebels (U.S. Civil War) for another year.

This is a compilation of a few sources.

We had a great time at this party. We had a new couple join us. The Fallings were alot of fun to have around. He is funny as hell and she had a good time too. I enjoyed this party alot. I have to say it was one of the better ones. Next party.... next Sat!!
