A lot to say, yet ...
A lot has happened. It too much for words.
First, the lunch went well. We had fun and accomplished a lot. We have many new goals for the next fiscal year. Advertisement.
Second, I talked to Lucy today.
I thought I lost her again. The last time I thought I lost her was in Middle School . She found herself. Thank goodness. I would hate to lose her again. She means a lot to me.
Okay... That's three "a lots". I told you it was too much for words...
Must go and plan, clean the office and drink one of my husbands fraps. I hear the blender as I type... Yummy.
Music from the Yard
Two houses down the owner built a stage for his band. Well his band fell apart last October... but as we drove up to our house, there he was with some other guys singing and playing music.
Heart and soul
Latin rock
Feel the latin soul
take the funky move
do the gangster walk
rock the latin soul
or something like that. The rhythm is good... the lyrics need work and so does the singing. The song writer and lead vocalist was a bit of a diva and they dismissed him. So now they have to work on replacing that role.
Karissa arranged out "working" lunch. It's time to plan for the next fiscal year. We will take over. Since it's a girls lunch, Laup will not be in attendance, however he will be included in the take over.
Why?

Why do people tend to pretend? Not in an imaginary sense, but in a "my life is great and people love me" sense. The who notion of "I can do no harm". Lucy just called this morning. To tell me about her mom. You see her mom just called her. Her mother called to tell her that the home Lucy lives in will be put up for sale and Lucy will in essence, be homeless... unless she moves into a house her mother is buying right next door to her. CHEAP SHOT. Lucy hates this idea. The more distance between them the better. They get along more. Her mother married a new guy who's into buying real estate. He is also into looking at Lucy in a non "stepfather" type of way....ew. We have to brainstorm.... hopefully Manice, Lucy's sister will take the bait... her mom also offered her the "new house", but will purchase another around the block to keep the "family" together. One word..."Therapy".
Random Thoughts

I envy those with children, yet I love my freedom.
My husband and I did absolutely nothing all day. We had breakfast after waking up at 9:00 am. He then went back to bed and fell asleep after feeding all the animals. I went on to redo my nail polish on my toenails and buffed out my fingernails. I then came on line to blog about last nights Happy Hour. My husband worked on his IPOD, I got on the other computer and checked my e-mail. Karissa wants to have a "ladies" lunch next week. Time to check our schedules. I think this will be fun. Time out from our current lives... Although mine life is "no worries" at the moment. I took a shower and then proceeded to straighten my hair out. We went to Target, World Market and ate Lunch /Dinner at Souplantaion. We sat near a couple with newborn twins. Sigh. A little boy and girl. I want some and then again that couple came in after us and left before us. They swallowed their food down and then they were off. Too fast. I like my easy going life. Plus I love my career. I want the top damn it. I refuse to put my child in the care of someone else. SO ... All or nothing. Tomorrow planting mre rose bushes. Right now, clean this office, listen to my husband play piano and sing , and print out some pictures so I can scrapbook. I love our life right now. It's wonderful ... I love my husband.
