I got to work. Laid out the itinerary for the morning for all. Locked myself in HR and interviewed all morning long. Ran downtown with paper work and worked through my lunch. I then ate during work in between sessions and even had clients before I left for home. Came home and made arroz and chicken soft tacos for dinner. Talked to a dear friend about her "Biology Babe" and took time on the net. Catching up on Project Runway and adding my page to our Family website that my little brother set up for us. One more day. Tomorrow we are going to M's birthday party and celebrating another year of life. How beautiful.

FELT LIKE IT
I ... Spent $5000 in 10 minutes at work. My hands were numb after I hung up the phone.I... Filled out paper after paper of requisition forms in triplicate for the $5,000 expenditure.
I...Had a productive day at work. Busy, but productive.
I ....had a meeting at the downtown offices today.
I... put up a display board of our site's achievements downtown and took some pictures of it for our portfolio.
I...attended a trustee meeting after work. So in essence I went to work after work.
I ...made dinner for my husband and I decided to make cookies and cupcakes. I'm going to take some to work and put a paper down that say " because I felt like it".
I... feel better now... and I have only had one cupcake and that will be all for me tonight.
I also realized as I left my meeting, it's not all about me. Just the way the breeze swept through the air. The way the green of the trees stood in front of the blue panels of the sky. The way the air fell on my skin. I realized I am not alone.

OK.
I mopped the kitchen, cleaned out the pantry, put together 3 shelving units, put up a blind in the bathroom and even got in a short visit to grandma's on top of it all. I thought I would knock right out, but noooooo. I did not go to sleep until 11:00 and woke up "wide awake" at 2:00. The I was up at 6:00 to get ready. I decided to not wash my hair since I did not style it the day before, besides it was so windy today and I was going to be in and out of the office. One co-worker asked if I was OK at lunch, I guess I had "sleepy" on my face. I worked late doing paperwork and came home to flowers blooming in our garden and my husband playing his keys. Music flowed out of our house as I walked up the walkway to our front door with our little cat few steps behind. For dinner we whipped up chicken, rice, cut up avocado, cilantro, red onions and queso fresco and wrapped them in spring roll wraps. If you would of substituted corn tortillas they would of been chicken soft tacos. Now it's 9:20 pm. I'm ready to get ready for bed. I need some sleep.

Home... home on the rancho
First we have out cute little babies.
Next, my husband and I went out to do a little shopping and I piked these little things up. I love my husband. I was not sure if I should and he was the one that actually pushed for them. Probably because I was out in the rain playing with the dogs yesterday. When I was little I would run around in the rain and check on my pony, my bunnies, my dogs, my ducks ( I know, they like water) come in and then go out in the rain again. Well I did that yesterday and my shoes were soaked.
In the back-back yardWe have a front yard that filled with a minimal amount of grass and 8 different varieties of pink roses, lavenders, lemon grass, lemon verbena, hibiscus, verbena, an apple tree, lions tails, and dozens of different flowers/plants/bushes all with a hot pink Crepe Myrtle as the center piece.
The back yard has a seedless orange tree, an herb garden, grass of course, a huge blood trumpet, and a treeless tree house. The dogs are in this portion of the yard. Our tool shed which is huge houses our bikes, lawnmower, tool bench, bunny cage (when it rains), dog beds, and still plenty of space to play with the dogs inside.
The middle -back yard contains a start of another rose garden, a pom tree, the goat pen, a huge silk tree, and pampas grass.
The back-back yard contains miniature cheery trees, nopals, three huge pine trees that used to be potted Christmas trees from when I was a little girl and my some old cars that belong to my dad and his cousin. So needless to say, I have a lot of yard to cover and these will make it easier in the rain.
