Pride of Madeira
California PoppiesWe have them popping up all over. We planted two of them three years ago, and now they have spread all over the garden. They are great fillers, however sometimes I have to pull them like weeds if they are encroaching on another flower.

We received some news on Friday. It had to do with my husband's mother. The mother who walked out on our wedding reception. The woman who never called on Christmas, New Years, his birthday. It's been 7 years. I have not seen her personally since I wore my wedding dress.
I don't know if I should feel anything about it, because I don't. I don't know her. I do not have a relationship with her. little bad for her daughter, but overall... it's like a news story. Too bad. I'm glad she's better. Moving on.... I guess. Uncharted territories.
