Fight Night - Blurry Pictures : (
Well, before we headed out to my parents house I chased a snake to get some shots. I know, bad decision. This was the same type of Snake that I found in the house and trapped in the bathroom. I was alone and no one else saw it. I needed a picture of it so I could ID the type. Needless to say, it was to fast. This is the best shot. :(
My husband thought I was chasing after a kitty to get a picture of. As I jumped in the car he told me he has seen that kitty around a lot. Puzzled, a kitty? He looked at me and I then said "Oh, I wasn't chasing a kitty, I was chasing a snake." First thing out of his mouth was "BABY!".
We then went to my parents to watch the fight last night. We BBQ ribs, hamburgers, I brought shrimp and artichoke dip. It was Yummy. We then settled in for the fights. The first under card was great. The second was boring and the main event, frustrating.
My dad went to go pick up my grandfather and there we were the six of us (little brother stayed in his cave) watching the fight.

My husband found a discarded rose bush. It had been dug out and pruned heavily. He brought it home and be plopped it down into the earth. One year later, here is the reward of saving that old knot of roots. She was not ready to go yet.

My husband is playing the bass guitar in the living room. Yes, he picked up another instrument. He is very talented. I'm sitting here reflecting. Brain dump...
We were on lock down today. I heard a helicopter in the distance and thought to myself, hmmm... I should go to another office to be around people. Something is wrong, but I continued to work. Once more, I thought, hmmm I should go somewhere to be with people. By the time I gathered some work our security team announced a lock down. Too late, all alone in my office. The police were chasing two robbery suspects and advised our security to lock down the buildings. I happen to be alone in my office... a little scary. I sat on the floor, against the wall away from my door. Then we received another message. This is a lock down. Do not open your doors, do not leave the building, do not leave your offices. I heard running, muffled voices, outside. Then the "click" "click" of shot guns. I thought to myself those are real guns out there. I heard the walkie talkies, sirens, more clicking. The police cleared the area ...
I'll finish later...I just remembered, I needed to finish something else first.
Okay... It was a false alarm. The cops did a great job. There was no assailant on our premises. Thank goodness.
